Overwatch's road to the VEX World Championship
Team Overwatch 28176N (Newton Robotics Club) went from a school workshop in Hanoi to an invitation to the VEX Robotics World Championship in the US. Three qualifying events, two awards at each — then the Create Award that sealed the ticket. Not luck; competence, repeated.

My role on Overwatch
I owned the team's engineering documentation, design and media — the parts a judge reads before ever watching the robot drive: the engineering notebook that records every design decision and failure, the design work behind the machine, and how we present it. It taught me that in engineering, the thinking only counts if you can show it.

Why it matters to me
Robotics is where I build with my hands, not just in code. A robot doesn't care how elegant your idea is — it either scores or it doesn't. Every award on this page came from the same loop: design it, watch it fail on the field, fix it overnight, and go again — with a team I trusted. It's the same instinct behind everything else I make.
