PCCC-YOLO — Real-time Fire & Smoke Detection

Vietnam's fast-growing mini-apartments and rented rooms have a high fire risk but rarely any smart monitoring. I wanted early warning that needs no expensive physical sensors — just the cameras people already have.

An end-to-end pipeline — data collection, training YOLOv8s on a custom 131,945-image dataset (fire + smoke), and real-time detection on webcam/CCTV via OpenCV — packaged to deploy in a single command.
